Course objectives:
This This workshop focuses on the scientific research article and on improving writing skills to produce clear, concise, and well-structured manuscripts with better chances of publication and citation. Topics include scientific writing, the writing process, research article structure, organization, and writing tools.

Duration:
6 Classes of 2.5 hours: Total 15 hours online + homework.

This course is ideal for participants seeking to improve their pronunciation, stress, intonation, and academic vocabulary use. Participants will examine how specific English sounds are produced and practice them both during class time and in group activities. In addition, participants will practice key forms essential for initiating and sustaining academic conversations.

This course is ideal for language learners seeking to improve their pronunciation and presentation skills. Participants will explore how specific English sounds are produced and practice them through active engagement. Learners must be willing to share recorded videos as part of the course. By the end of the course, participants will present a topic of their choice and both give and receive peer feedback.

6 classes of 2 hours + 3 hours of work online Total: 15 hours

ADVANCED GRAMMAR STRATEGIES FOR WRITING

HYBRID COURSE

Course objectives:
This course utilizes a hybrid instructional model designed to maximize your time and hands-on experience. Materials are shared via Google Classroom and the live session is via Zoom. By separating lecture from practice, we ensure that every minute spent in the classroom is dedicated to active learning, skill development, and questions. The last session is devoted for peer-review on your own writing. This is your chance to have your work revised collaboratively.

Requirements: Participants must watch the recorded Lessons and go over materials before the live session.

Course structure:
Each lesson includes 45 minutes of asynchronous work (recorded lesson and additional materials), followed by a synchronous session of 1 hour and 15 minutes twice a week, for a total 12 hours. The last class lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes and is devoted for peer review. Participants should plan an additional 30 minutes (for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes)  after each lesson to complete suggested homework or class discussions.
