Course objectives:
This workshop focuses on the scientific research article and on improving writing skills to produce clear, concise, and well-structured manuscripts with better chances of publication and citation. Topics include scientific writing, the writing process, research article structure, organization, and writing tools.
Duration:
6 Classes of 2.5 hours: Total 15 hours online + homework.

ENGLISH SKILLS FOR ACADEMIA: FOR STUDENTS 2026

Course objectives:
English Skills for Academia is a skills-based course designed to strengthen students’ foundational competencies in academic English. The course covers the foundations of English sentence and clause types, essential punctuation rules, and strategies for reducing wordiness in writing so that writers can strengthen their editing skills. The course also emphasizes spoken communication through pronunciation awareness and conversation practice, providing hands-on opportunities to apply language skills in both written and oral academic contexts.
Duration:
10 classes of 2 hours: Total 20 hours
Dates and times:
Group I—June 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 &
July 1, 2 and 3
11:30 am–1:30 pm (CDMX time).
Fee:
Students: 100 USD.
